The renowned Marine Science Center, located at 100 Lighthouse Point Drive in Ponce Inlet, is set to temporarily close its doors for an extensive renovation project scheduled for October.

The facility, which has long been a hub for marine education and wildlife rehabilitation, will undergo critical upgrades to its exhibit hall during this period. The renovation aims to enhance the visitor experience and modernize the center's displays, ensuring that it continues to educate and inspire future generations of marine enthusiasts.

While the exhibit hall will be inaccessible to the public during this time, the dedicated staff at the Marine Science Center will not be taking a break. They will continue caring for the numerous injured and sick birds and turtles brought to the center for treatment and rehabilitation. The center's commitment to marine life conservation remains unwavering, even during these renovations.

Visitors and supporters of the Marine Science Center are encouraged to mark their calendars for November when the renovations should be complete. These improvements will offer a more immersive and informative experience, showcasing the incredible marine life that inhabits the waters off the Florida coast.
