Volusia County Schools has announced a change to the upcoming Volusia County School Board meeting in response to anticipated severe weather conditions later this afternoon and into this evening.

The Volusia County School Board workshop, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. today, will proceed as planned. However, in light of the impending severe weather forecasted, the subsequent School Board meeting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. will convene immediately following the ending of the workshop. This adjustment is by Florida law, allowing for such modifications in case of an emergency.
