Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is buzzing with excitement as it commemorates a significant milestone - 15 years of partnership with American Airlines (AA), by acknowledging the years of dedicated service from the airline, marking a fruitful journey of collaboration and growth.
Marking the milestone with a celebration today, on Monday, October 16, airport staff is spreading the festive spirit by providing passengers on all arriving and departing American Airlines flights with delightful cupcakes, while the gates and ticket counter areas have been adorned with vibrant balloons and celebratory signage to amplify the festive ambiance.
The association between Daytona Beach International Airport and American Airlines dates back to January 2008, when US Airways initiated services at DAB. Later, in October 2015, US Airways was acquired by American Airlines, solidifying the airline's footprint at the airport.
“American Airlines has been a great partner, and we look forward to continued years of success and growth of the airline here at DAB,” said Joanne Magley, director of Air Service Development and Marketing for the airport.
American Airlines is a pivotal air service provider, offering daily nonstop flights to Charlotte, NC, with seamless connections to various destinations. Additionally, they offer seasonal services to Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, enhancing connectivity and travel options for Daytona Beach International Airport passengers.
