The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is gearing up for a cosmic celebration as it announces the return of its annual "Holidays in Space" extravaganza, proudly presented by Pepsi, which blasts off from Friday, December 15, to Friday, December 30, promising visitors an intergalactic experience like never before.

One of the highlights of this year's Holidays in Space is the eagerly awaited return of the mesmerizing nighttime projection mapping show, "Starflake’s Holiday Voyage." The captivating display will illuminate the exterior of the iconic Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex. Attendees will embark on a six-minute interstellar journey guided by "Starflake," a celestial fusion of a shooting star and a snowflake. Recognizable landmarks, including the Vehicle Assembly Building, the International Space Station, and the James Webb Space Telescope, will be featured in this cosmic spectacle.

"With all the current excitement surrounding space exploration as we anticipate eventual voyages to the Moon and Mars, the visitor complex is a hub for learning, inspiration, and fun, especially with it decked out for the holidays," said Therrin Protze, Chief Operating Officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Adding to the festive ambiance, visitors can explore the all-new Rocket Tree Trail, sponsored by L3 Harris Technologies behind Orbit Cafe. Additionally, a host of seasonal decorations will adorn the complex, creating a captivating holiday atmosphere.

An innovative addition to this year's festivities is the Kennedy Entry Experience, a dazzling LED spectacle featuring a 3,000-square-foot LED video display that narrates the captivating story of NASA. Enchanting holiday decor, including a towering 50-foot tree illuminating the Rocket Garden and Gateway with over 61,000 pixels, will welcome guests as they enter through the front gates. Eight larger-than-life, six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers, a Rocket holiday tree, and other festive backdrops will contribute to the magical atmosphere.

The holiday cheer officially begins on November 24, allowing guests to revel in the festivities for an extended period. Returning favorites, such as the NASA meatball turned holiday ornament, will also make a comeback.
